Most worn pieces in London: Bernice bracelet, Kathleen necklace, Sophie necklace, Amaris gold earrings, and Pearl drop earrings.

This city offers a mix of history, culture, and exciting experiences. From famous sites like Big Ben and the Tower of London to unique neighborhoods and local favorites, there’s something for everyone. Whether you're a first-time visitor or a seasoned traveler, prepare to be enchanted by the blend of tradition and modernity that makes London truly special.

Places:

When you think of London, Big Ben probably springs to mind—a true icon that’s as British as tea and crumpets! It’s not just a clock; it’s a vibrant piece of the city’s heartbeat.

Marveling at the beautiful Chapter House or taking a moment in the tranquil Cloisters, Westminster Abbey offers a serene escape from the city’s hustle. The atmosphere is both awe-inspiring and humbling.

Make sure to take a nice stroll through Saint James Park right across from the Churchill war rooms. The duck cottage was an adorable little stop on our stroll and is a must-see picturesque spot.

Visiting Buckingham Palace was a memorable experience! The Changing of the Guard ceremony was a highlight, with the soldiers in their traditional uniforms marching with precision—it felt like stepping into a piece of history.

Places to shop

This store’s iconic Tudor-style building, with its dark wooden beams and old-world charm, stands out in the heart of the city. This is a maze of floors filled with everything from high-end fashion to unique home decor. What I loved most was the store’s sense of tradition blended with modern luxury.

If you’re looking for a colorful experience in London, Portobello Road is the place to be! Famous for its bustling market and quirky charm, this street in Notting Hill has something for everyone. The whole family loved going and shopping around on a quiet morning! Picking up one of a kind antiques.

I loved pairing our Lydia necklace with this outfit.

Stepping into Fortnum & Mason on Piccadilly is like walking into a world of British elegance and indulgence. Shopping at Fortnum & Mason isn’t just about the items you buy—it’s an experience. It’s a place where luxury meets tradition, and every visit feels like a little escape into a world of refinement and taste. I left with beautifully wrapped packages and a huge bag of chocolate.

Places to eat

The Admiralty is a charming pub offers a cozy atmosphere with nautical-themed decor that perfectly complements its location. This pub is an ideal spot to relax after exploring the bustling area around Trafalgar Square. With its welcoming vibe and delicious food, it's a great place to unwind and soak in the local culture. You must try the Jubilee Chicken sandwhich.

Having afternoon tea at The Connaught Hotel in London was an exquisite experience! The tea selection was impressive, offering a range of high-quality blends. I opted for the classic English breakfast tea, which was steeped to perfection. The tiered stand of delicacies that followed was a feast for the eyes—mini sandwiches, freshly baked scones with clotted cream and jam as well as a delightful assortment of pastries and cakes.
